Neighborhood Walkthroughs

Oakwood Glen HOA is responsible for the maintenance of the value, attractiveness, and integrity of the neighborhood through the enforcement of deed restrictions. The HOA Board and Volunteers walk through the neighborhood on a regular basis (typically following each monthly board meeting) to ensure community upkeep in accordance with our Bylaws and Deed Restrictions.

Items being monitored include:

  • Unsightly items visible from the street
  • Garbage cans visible from the street
  • Broken or leaning fences
  • Trailers in driveways
  • Landscaping and lawn maintenance
  • Unapproved improvements

To avoid a Violation Notice, please help by remedying such issues. Planning an exterior improvement? Submit an Architecture Change Request before work begins. For deed restriction questions, review the documents in our Resource Center. Questions? Email the board at board@oakwoodglenhoa.org

Note: The City of Cedar Park has jurisdiction over street parking. Follow parking ordinances on the City of Cedar Park website to avoid being ticketed.

Board Meeting Highlights

August 3, 2026

Front Entrance Landscaping Approved

The board approved a new native, low-water ("xeriscape") design for both entrance garden beds — think Hill Country limestone, gravel, and Texas-native plants. We're collecting contractor quotes now and hope to have this underway soon.

A Little Free Library Is Coming

We approved a book donation box, generously hosted at a resident's home, with the HOA covering the cost of the box itself. A big thank you to Sam for bringing this idea forward!

Wildlife Note

A few residents have spotted a fox (and possibly a kit) in the neighborhood. We've reached out to local animal control. Please keep an eye on small pets and children, and don't approach or feed wildlife.

New Entrance Lighting

We'll be adding solar path lights near the entrance sign this week. The board also continued its ongoing review of our governing documents and shared friendly property maintenance reminders — thank you for helping keep Oakwood Glen looking great.
