We are currently finalizing our 2026 balances and preparing official statements for all homeowners. You can expect to receive a mailed letter by the end of the month of February outlining:
Your 2026 balance,
Payment instructions (for preview, see this page), and
Details about our new payment system (for preview, see this page).
As a reminder, 2026 HOA dues will be due by May 1, 2026.
This year, we are transitioning to a new online payment platform. In the past, payments were sent directly to an individual via Venmo — we will no longer be using that method. The upcoming letter will include clear instructions on how to submit your payment securely through the new system.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we modernize and streamline this process for the neighborhood.
If you have any immediate questions, feel free to contact the HOA Treasurer.
Thanks,
The Oakwood Glen HOA Treasurer

To help protect our beautiful oak trees, please avoid pruning any oaks between February 1st and September 1st — unless it is an emergency.
Why? This is peak season for sap beetles that spread oak wilt. Pruning wounds attract them.
Emergency cuts? Paint the wound immediately with latex or wound paint, and sterilize tools between trees.
Best time to prune: Late fall to mid-winter (September through January) — when trees are dormant and beetles are inactive.
✅ Healthy trees = a healthy neighborhood.

As a reminder, when tree limbs press on or touch power lines, they can cause arcing (sparks or popping noises), which is both a fire hazard and a serious electrical risk. To prevent safety hazards and service interruptions, we encourage you to work with our electricity provider Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) when you notice any trees, bushes or vegetation near power lines/ Never address this on your own. PEC will send out a crew to trim them back as needed.
